Gayper Day is an unofficial holiday in Summit County, Colorado that is celebrated on April 1st of every year. The term "Gayper" refers to a tourist in Summit County. Gaypers generally have neon gear from the 80's and 90's. Gayper Ski attire also includes the following: Texas Longhorn Apparel, Jeans, Cowboy Hats, One Piece Suits, and Non Parabolic 190cm Skis.
Locals from all over the county dress up on "Gayper Day" to mock the tourists. It has really turned out to be a big event here in Summit County over the last few years. Below are a few pictures I took at Breckenridge to give you a better visual.
