A Hike Through Dead Man Land

I've always been intrigued with cemeteries, ghosts, etc.  Beleive what you want, but I like to think it's real.  On the morning of Halloween, I read article in the local newspaper about Breckenridge's Haunted Cemetery, and I was intrigued.  According to the Summit Daily Newspaper,  Breckenridge's first graveyard was at Warriors Mark. But when gold was discovered at the site, the remains of the many people buried there were exhumed and moved to Valley Brook where they did, and still do, share one communal grave.  Having lived in Summit County for almost 7 years, I never visited the cemetery.  So after hiking all day with my sister, we decided to go check it out.  Below are some photos I took during our 1 hour journey.

Above:  The cross reads. "The Unknown Dead," kind of freaky.  Look at the face on the gravestone on the bottom right of the picture.  Very Freaky!!!!!
